Homegoing services honoring the life of Mr. Harold C. Butler, father of Sonya Jackson, will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Union Baptist Church, located at 4314 Hwy 165 Bypass, Monroe, Louisiana 71202. The service began at 1:00 p.m., followed immediately by a repast, as family and friends gathered in love to remember, reflect, and celebrate a life well lived.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home, located at 2932 Renwick St., Monroe, Louisiana 71201, providing an opportunity for family and friends to come together, share memories, and offer comfort and support.

In our ongoing effort to be good stewards and to serve our church family with excellence, we are introducing a Membership ID Number for each member, effective January 28, 2025.
This step is being taken to help us lovingly and accurately record each member’s faithful giving, especially as we have experienced challenges with contributions submitted under varying names or with incomplete envelope information.
We kindly ask that members include their Membership ID Number on all giving envelopes, as well as in the memo line for electronic giving and checks.
