PROJECT “E” MOVIE NIGHT

Please note: Project E Movie Night has been rescheduled to Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 6:00 PM!

Join us at the GNG Family Life Center for a cozy and uplifting evening as we come together to explore emotional wellness, faith, and community through the movie Inside Out 2.

This night is part of Project E, our ongoing effort to create safe, supportive spaces for emotional awareness and growth. To help you get the most out of the experience, we recommend watching the first Inside Out movie beforehand. It provides helpful background on the characters and themes we’ll see in the second film—and you can easily find it on Disney+.

Bring your blankets, bring your family, and get ready for a night of encouragement, connection, and conversation!

Everyone is welcome—children, youth, young adults, families, and friends. The sign-up deadline is Wednesday, May 28, 2026. Sign-up sheets are available on the bulletin boards, online or you can scan the QR code shown on the Sunday Program .

Father Day Recognition

Attention Greater New Guide Family: 

This Father’s Day, the Department of Children, Youth and Young Adult, Scholarship Ministry, Senior Ministry, and Courtesy Guild invite you to join us for a special celebration honoring the men who are the roots of our families. 

It’s our Father’s Day BBQ: The Father That Is the Root of the Family. 

All men and sons are invited to come out and enjoy food, fellowship, and a moment to honor the strength, guidance, and foundation our fathers provide. As the Scripture says in Proverbs 20:7, ‘The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him.’ Join us on Saturday, June 6th, 2026, at 12:00 PM, in the Activity Center.

HEALTHCARE MINISTRY

The Health Care Ministry wants to remind everyone that May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and this year's theme is "More Good Days, Together." This encourages us to reflect on what a "good" day looks like, both for ourselves and for our communities. 

As we care for our physical health, we must also remember to care for our minds, emotions, and spirits. God calls us to love others, but He also wants us to be healthy and whole ourselves. 

This month, we are encouraging our church family to join our church-wide "START-STOP-CONNECT" Challenge: 

START - Doing something that we know we should be doing. 

STOP - Doing things that we know are not good for us. (Ignoring stress, carrying burdens alone, and pouring from an empty cup) 

CONNECT - With God, family, trusted friends, and supportive community. 

Let's challenge ourselves to glorify God not only through service, but also through healthy minds, healed hearts, and meaningful connections. Together, let's wear our green and work together towards "More Good Days, Together!"

Please print and fully complete your tithes/offering envelope with the requested information. Also, indicate if your giving is for an individual, couple or family in the boxes provided. Use your official legal name consistently.

Parents & guardians are not required to list their children's names up to age 25 on the envelope. Instead, select the “family” option on your envelope. Individuals age 26 and above must complete a separate envelope.
