Valarie Moore Woods, the sister of Brenda Magee, aunt of Allyson Magee Parker (Jeffery), and great aunt to Jace and Aiden Parker, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 24, 2026

Services were held at Miller & Daughters Mortuary on Thursday, March 5, 2026.

SCHOLARSHIP MEETING

Building Scholars-Shaping Futures

TODAY after worship, the Scholarship Ministry is excited to announce an important graduation informational meeting for students and their parents.

We want to acknowledge our upcoming high school, college, and professional graduates of 2026, as well as the class of 2025 college and professional graduates (graduated after June 2025).

Please meet on the front row of the sanctuary immediately after church today. We will be sharing information about this year's GNG Graduate Recognition Program.

Additionally, returning committee members and those interested in joining this scholarship committee are encouraged to attend this meeting.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Greater New Guide family, the Vacation Bible School Ministry is now soliciting volunteers for our 2026 Vacation Bible School program! 

Join us as we “Shine a Light on Jesus” for Vacation Bible School, taking place June 23–25, 2026. We are asking you to use your gifts and talents to serve in a variety of ways — teaching, assisting, serving, recording activities, taking pictures, and more.

Health & Wellness Fair

The Health Care & Senior Citizen Ministry invites you to attend our upcoming Health & Wellness Fair on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Family Life Center.

Come out and take advantage of free health screenings, nutrition tips, and medical information, provided by health professionals and community partners.

This event is open to the public, so please invite your family, friends, and neighbors. It will be a fun and informative day for everyone!

Please print and fully complete your tithes/offering envelope with the requested information. Also, indicate if your giving is for an individual, couple or family in the boxes provided. Use your official legal name consistently.

Parents & guardians are not required to list their children's names up to age 25 on the envelope. Instead, select the “family” option on your envelope. Individuals age 26 and above must complete a separate envelope.
