Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, highlighting the crucial role of early detection through self-exams and mammograms. Breast Cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States. The good news is that many women can survive breast cancer if detected and treated early. For more information please stop by the media rack or go to https://www.cancer.org.

Congregational Meeting

A Congregational Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, October 8, 2023 (2nd Sunday) immediately after worship service. Hard copies are available on the tables where masks are located and on the sanctuary’s foyer table. The feedback form is designed to make comments prior to the meeting.

Place your COVID-19 feedback form in the wicker baskets near each entrance in the sanctuary or marked drop box near the office. The deadline for online and hard copies is Thursday, October 5th @ 12 noon.

COVID/FLU PRECAUTIONS

We encourage you to stay focused on taking every step to remain safe, protecting yourself and others from the spread of COVID. COVID is serious, and so is the safety and well-being of everyone here at GNG. We ask our members to follow all safety procedures:

1. If you are feeling ill, stay home until you know for sure you are not contagious.

2. Wearing masks is again mandatory in the building, with the exception of children ages 2 and under (per CDC guidelines).

3. Wash your hands regularly and use sanitizer after touching anything that could possibly spread infection.

4. Avoid hand-shaking, hugging, and holy kissing behaviors.

5. Complete the COVID contact card when attending worship and bible study. These cards supply the COST team with information needed to monitor and inform possible exposures. All information collected is strictly confidential.

6. Self-sanitize restrooms and any other areas for your personal safety.

7. If you feel you have COVID, get tested.  If you test positive, please contact the GNG office. Your information will be kept strictly confidential.
