The Deacons & Trustees meeting is scheduled for Saturday, May 28, 2022 @ 10:30 a.m.
REINSTATEMENT OF CHURCH LEADERS’ RESPONSIBILITIES & OBLIGATIONS
God’s grace has allowed us to endure a nationwide Covid-19 pandemic. Churches across the country had to make tough personnel and church operational adjustments. Greater New Guide made its best effort to navigate through this first of a kind pandemic and have kept the welfare of its members as a priority.
I would like to thank all volunteers who have assisted us over the past two years. Likewise, I appreciate the approximately 300 members who were vaccinated in to better to protect themselves and others I further thank each member who financially supported the church during this challenging time.
As we are aware the pandemic is not over. However, many of us have returned to pre-covid daily routines and activities. The church doors have been reopened with minimal safety requirements. For this reason, I am reinstating our church and ministry leadership requirements. It is time that we take a step to move the church forward.
Effective Sunday, June 5, 2022, all leaders are asked to meet their church-related obligations and responsibilities. This means that attendance requirements will be required for Bible study, worship, Sunday school and leadership meetings. The diaconate, trustees, teachers, ushers, choir members, musicians, ministry leaders and ministers fall under this requirement.
Any leader who is unable to meet their obligations or responsibilities is asked to submit a written notice to the office. Highlight your reason for not being able to proceed forward. You may submit this information to the office by hand, email (greaternewguidebaptistchurch@gmail.com or mail. I thank you for your cooperation. Let me know if any support is needed during this transition.
